Gee and guess who Amazon is going to pass on all that cost to---the additional cost of employees--drivers (salaries, benefits etc) facility to house the trucks, all the overhead, maintenance for trucks, gas etc etc..... Id make sure to start comparison shopping....because Amazon's CEO thinks customers have been trained to think (I call it brain washing)that Amazon always has the lowest price and will order from them without comparison shopping.......And I bet Prime will go up again too

Nothing anyone says can stop me from shopping AMAZON <3 They have been using white vans forever and if someone should happen to deliver from their car ,they are AWAYS wearing a vest. Easily identifiable <3

I know Amazon is experimenting with Drone delivery.
That WILL be a surprise.

What was strange about the van? I can't think of the name of the rental company but there is one that has a big $19.99 on it; apparently the vans rent for $19.99 a day. Amazon is beefing up it's delivery fleet. I get drivers in the personal cars and some in Amazon cars.

I still get all my Amazon deliveries by way of FedEx, UPS or the post office. Love my Amazon!!!

I hope there will be more oversight for the new endeavor than the current Amazon Local setup. All my Amazon delivery problems have been with the local service. USPS, FedEx and UPS no problems so far.

I wouldn't mind it if the Amazon delivery service delivered my non-Amazon packages too. Wouldn't that be a hoot if they showed up at Qvc's loading dock ready to expertly deliver to us - a job that Qvc still cannot get right with their ridiculous ups/usps handoff and delays in delivery because the post office needs to scan stuff 4 times. Yes, 4 times before they'll send it out for delivery not to mention the additional delay from the handoff. There are no words to describe this stupidity that we must endure in 2018! Now if it happened in 1995/1996 that would be more understandable when online shopping was in its infancy.

When I lived in the city, Amazon would make their deliveries to me buy a guy driving a Jeep.

It was strange TO ME because one of my sons orders A LOT from Amazon and his packages come here AT LEAST once every week and this was the first time the delivery wasn’t from either UPS or the US Mail. OKAY? And maybe it was $19.99 and not $19.95 as I said. Please excuse me if I was off 4 cents.
