See a photo of Rod Stewart being knighted yesterday by Prince William on behalf of the Queen.  From the article:

"Stewart, 71, was recognized for his music career as well as his contributions to charity. He’s a regular supporter of Prince Charles‘s Prince’s Trust — a foundation that aids disadvantaged youth."

I guess the Queen doesn't perform investitures herself anymore.  Can't blame her.  Rod looks short in the photos.  But he's 5'10" and his wife is 6'1".  And she's wearing heels, further exaggerating their difference.

He looks like he's stuck in a hole. I like RS's music but he is trying too hard to fight aging. He should embrace it instead of going for younger and younger women and having children who may well grow up not knowing their father. Yes, I am injecting my opinion into the discussion but these old guys have to grow beyond adolescence.

Such harsh comments. Were people upset when Paul McCartney was knighted? How about the hundreds of other people in the entertainment business also so honored?
