Sams club Facebook page offered $45 to join, and they give you a $45 gift card when you get there.
I did it last week. Sams isnt for me, a family of 2, but I bought $45 worth of meat

so it didn't cost me anything.

Just 2 of us, too, but, I go to sam's to check out their jewelry and they discount magazines pretty good.  I buy big cans of pepper, dehydrated onion, pecans.

I  had a Sam's green colored card and when I bought a 14kt gold bangle I was offered to upgrade to their Sam's/Mastercard and get 55 off a purchase, so, I used that on the gold bangle and bought it down to 236.

I like this card better then the Target Red Card because Sam's credit card site is so much easier to access,. I'm weeding out Target now. Both are Mastercards, but, Sam's you can check your debt lot easier, no hassle.

I like buying from Sams, but the store is not in my town, and our Covid cases are so high right now, I just won't make the trip over there.

However, I am happily ordering A LOT of pantry staples online.  They fill and ship orders quickly, it arrives in a few short days, and their packing is the best I've ever seen.

I plan on going back and browsing more. I had my 80 yr old Mom with me who

can't do all that walking.  And the shopping cart was double wide, hard for her to push.

Sam's is not perfect and we do buy our meats from a butcher but there are items that are hard to resist over at Sam's.  If you go scour the racks you'll see some deals not found elsewhere.  For ex, their multi pack of neosporin and their multi pack of bandaids, antispetic wipes, gloves, masks, hand lotions, body wash, toothpaste, vitamin and mineral supplements, batteries to name a few.

We are two hours from nearest Sams but now we use them a lot for pantry items.  This really helps as frequently our local Wal-Mart and Safeway are very under stocked. Sams ordering is very fast, as is delivery!

I'm right there with you, we don't have one in my city, it was always a fun trip to one of the bigger cities to hit sams after we were done with our other shopping. We ended up upgrading our membership to get the free shipping right as we were first hearing about Covid. It has been awesome.

That was a great deal to join. I buy all my gasoline there because they always have the cheapest gas prices around where I live, by a Longshot.   Even if I don't buy anything else there all year (which I do) my savings on gas more than pays for my membership. Their large bags of navel oranges are really good.
