This is the saddest celebrity death I have every head about. I've seen most of his movies and when I saw the funny ones, I always thought he, himself would be as funny inside as he was on the outside. That shows what a great actor he was.
RIP Robin. You are loved and will be sorely missed. No one can ever take your place.

MK,
I'm having trouble copying your post. You'd asked about the area where Mrs. Doubtfire was filmed...
The area known as the Marina, but actually it's a little south of the true Marina. They used the correct address in the movie, 2640 Steiner St.
The specific area is known as Cow Hollow. BTW, the characters in the movie also used the real names of the couple living in that house.

Koko the Gorilla and Robin Williams. If you've never watched and are a Robin Williams fan you will enjoy this. It's a gem.

That's some cool trivia. I didn't realize it was near the Marina district. I had a fender bender there. Lol
I wonder what it was like having a movie shot using your house....

Many hearts breaking around the world over losing this great talent and wonderful man. I rarely cry over celebrities, but I cried over this.
Loved all his movies, but a particular favorite was "Bicentennial Man"
