My last day teaching was today; I'm staying retired. I'm tired.

Congratulations!  I am also a retired teacher.  I was so tired of being busy.  I needed to slow down and now I am only as busy as I want to be.

@hoosieroriginal, congratulations on your second retirement!  I have been retired for awhile now and I have never been busier!  LM

@Lilysmom - that's why I've decided it's just not worth it - even 4 hours 2 days a week - by the time I get ready, drive there and come home, it takes up most of my day.  I am super busy at work and the fall is my most busy time because I have so many trees on my property, I am constantly mowing/mulching throughout the fall to keep up with the mess.

@hoosieroriginal, I totally get what you mean about it taking almost a full day to do a half day's work.  Yes, time to look after you first.  Retirement is a gift.  Make the absolute most of it!!!  LM
