I still love Vanlla Wafers and always have a box (or two) around. Smiley Happy

We rarely had them but my Aunt and Grandmother bought them when making banana pudding for family events.  They were a treat as we didn't have desert at every meal.

I did have a mini cheesecake recipe using Nilla wafers somewhere years ago

Never ever. My dad would occasionally get those cookies shaped like windmills, and those waffle strip thingys that came in chocolate, vanilla and strawberry.

We always had them. We used them for snacks and put banana slice between two for a banana sandwich.  Once a year or so we had banana pudding (which never ever had some baked topping on it).

Oreos, Salerno Butter Cookies, and Dutch Santa Claus Cookies were our store bought options, but not each one all the time.  Sometimes my sister would get my mom to buy Salerno Coconut Bar Cookies.

Like I said, not each kind all the time.  They were just the go to's if/when we ever had cookies in the house.  I liked it at my friend's house.  Her mom baked Toll House cookies with some regularity.
