I just wish I knew who brought this over so I could thank them. When you really look forward to getting something, it's a real let down when it doesn't happen due to incompetence.

It's not just UPS. Three times now within 2 months I've had small boxes crammed into my mail box (it's larger than most boxes) and I had to call the post office to have someone come out and get the thing out of my mailbox!
My neighbor tried and he couldn't get it out either. By the time it came out of my mailbox most of the box was destroyed!
I can't tell you how many things the carrier has jammed into my mailbox!
My daughter in Denver paid extra money to have UPS come and pick up two chairs I'd sent her to return to QVC. She stayed home waiting for them....they never called or showed up. She called again and the same thing. She and her boyfriend tied them to the top of her car and TOOK them to UPS....she filled out paperwork to get the money she'd payed to be picked up back. That was a few months ago. Still no money from them.
You know what's funny Annabelle with my mailman----if there is something small that will easily fit in the mailbox I have to go pick it up because it was too large for the mailbox ............then when its clothes he will cram them in my box and its so horribly wrinkled.........or something that is large he crams it in there...........

Getting worse everywhere. I do believe it might be that some of the permanent help is on vacation and the temporaries are not being trained well enough to take over.
In my case I had a package being handed off from the original source to FedEx and then to the mail service. It WAS OUT FOR DELIVERY and was sent back to where it came from. No one knew why.
And then there were packages that had the same address number but different street. A 1600 something ended up a 1600 somewhere else.
And to make it more fun sme packages ended up at a neighbors house in their mail and they were away on vacation.
All of this is not paying attention and being careless.

@Kachina624 I don't know what to tell you other than you're right, it's a mess and it ticks me off as well.
I was out of town for a few days with my youngest and my husband called to give me an update on the boys and then said " you received a large box from HSN today. It's....pretty badly damaged".
Now, I know what was in that box: all the Trish McEvoy products I ordered during her show including 2 items that are packaged in glass. I'm wondering how badly damaged the box really is. When I get home today....it's....bad. REAL bad. Half ot the box was bashed in/crumpled. There was duct tape (the heavy beige stuff with strings in it) wrapped around the box with 2 little plastic puffs hanging OUTSIDE the box and stuck to the tape. A handwritten address label was stuck to the box and wrapped with clear tape. The order was BAD as one glass bottle full of alpha/beta peel pads had been shattered as well as the glass bottle of perfume for my MIL. It was missing half ot the order and the other items has glass and junk all over them.
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THIS BOX?!
HSN immediately credited me the full amount and offered sincere apologies but still...WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS BOX?! Worse yet, this is happening more and more and MORE often with UPS. With USPS, they shove boxes into my mail box to the point items (pictures or fragile items) have been ruined. I mean... WHY?!
I know many of us feel your pain, Kachina. Oh, do we.
Edited for spelling.

They got to town finally and I get a message in tracking that UPS will deliver rather than the post office since they'll be in the area (they're in the area daily).
So I'm waiting, waiting, check tracking and see that all three were delivered at 1:56pm, only they weren't. Nothing outside anywhere, no dogs barking at a truck. Spend 30 minutes trying to find a phone number for the local UPS terminal. There isn't one. No way to contact anyone.
I talk to a nice young man at QVC CS and we decide to wait and see if a good Samaritan shows up with them. One item is sold out.
Then to add insult to injury, I remember I've got two items coming from HSN, check their tracking and guess what else was delivered at 1:56pm. So that 5 packages misdelivered by a moron at UPS. Oh...and the HSN items are both sold out.
I'm so upset I have a tension headache. I don't know what's going to come of the shipping fiasco in the country but it seems impossible to get a package from point A to B in a reasonable time with accuracy. The infrastructure just can't handle the surge brought on by internet sales. Christmas is going to be a nightmare.
@Kachina624 Then to avoid a shipping nightmare, why don't you shop locally?
She might be like my mom where there is NO shopping left in her small town.

Hi @Kachina624. I'm sooo glad that you got your packages. I know exactly how you feel. It's not only the time and money but the fact that you've already made plans with the items you expect to receive.
I got so ticked off last year when USPS misdelivered a QVC package . If the supervisor did not come and find it at the building next door, it was gone for good. It was also sold out.
BTW, the OP advised this was a rant from the title. If you clicked then IMO don't complain that it's too long or that it's not a big deal.
It's a big deal to her and it's her rant, not yours.

@makena Sad to say, I did not. I got the suede mules with the embroidery that were the TS before Patricia Nash. They are very pretty.... and comfortable.

@SahmIam I know it's not funny but you're so descriptive. Perhaps an elephant sat on it? More likely it ended up on the bottom of a big pile of heavy boxes. I bet the delivery guy smelled good.
