Funny that pantyhose went out of style. When was that exactly? We moved from Ohio to Florida in 2007. I noticed no one wearing them in Florida, and honestly thought that was a Florida thing, until I learned otherwise - that no one seemed to be wearing them anymore. I am sure I still have a few pair of Leggs somewhere!

Remember the big Leggs displays in drug stores?

@Oznell

Ouch, sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery after two previous.

I heard there was a long recovery time, but hopefully this will be the last of it for you.

Good luck and hope you are finally done, once and for all.

That is so sweet of you, @Flatbush , thank you, kind one!  Have been putting it off, but thinking I must bite the bullet pretty soon....   (like in the next couple of years, sometime, ha...)

@Oznell  Beautiful classics and perfectly tailored!   ALL veterans deserve our praise and going the extra mile to dress is a small price for their valor.   Thanks for sharing.

Arg....I bet those shoes will be smelly!  Yes, panty hose was required.  But she's showing her legs, warts and all.  So perhaps they changed the rules.

Increasingly look of shoulder pads.  Hope they are not coming down the pike.......Have noticed some tops on QVC that way too.

I think eventually they will disappear.  Each day it borders on silliness.

Re: ROYAL OUTFITS FOR NOVEMBER

This November outfit was too cute to resist--  and the poppies were right there on the darling Burberry jacket, worn here at a Scottish youth charity event:

I'm not a fan of thick soled boots, but do like the flared jeans and the Ralph Lauren wool/cashmere cropped turtleneck:

You can't see in these shots, but the appropriately simple earrings she wore with this were garnet tear drops:

I can't decide which color I like that Burberry jacket best in-- her deep green, or this rich, rich brown--

I remember Diana's Remembrance Day outfits. No one looked lovelier.
