I am so sorry to hear this sad news.  While I wasn't a follower of Helen Reddy, I do remember the impact her song I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar had at the time.  I supported the ERA  and I roared for equality. 

Be with God, Helen and at peace.

So sorry to read of her passing.  I loved her song You and Me Against the World, it always made me teary-eyed.  May she rest in peace.

A few months ago I remember watching an episode of Diagnosis Murder that starred Helen Reddy.   In that episode she was a singer that started to display odd behavior.   In the end Dr. Sloan realized that she was showing signs of early dementia.  

How sad that in later years her portrayal of that character became a reality for her.  

She was always one of my favorites.   She may be gone but her legacy will live on forever.
