  • Leave Me Alone - Ruby Red Dress
  • Delta Dawn
  • You and Me Against the World - my very favorite
  • Angie Baby
  • Emotion
  • Keep on Singing
  • Peaceful
  • Aint' No Way to Treat a Lady
  • Somehwere in the Night
  • I Can't Hear You No More
  • Lovin' You
  • Don't You Mess With a Woman
  • The West Wind Circus - another favorite
  • If We Could Still Be Friends
  • Long Hard Climb
  • Until It's Time for You to Go

And many, many more. Think I have all her albums.

I was lucky enough to see her in person a couple of times in Los Angeles.

Rest In Power, Queen

"I Am Woman"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2j_QTcox4LI

I am woman, hear me roar

In numbers too big to ignore
And I know too much to go back an' pretend

'Cause I've heard it all before
And I've been down there on the floor
No one's ever gonna keep me down again

Oh yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained

If I have to, I can do anything

I am strong
(Strong)
I am invincible
(Invincible)
I am woman

You can bend but never break me
'Cause it only serves to make me
More determined to achieve my final goal

And I come back even stronger
Not a novice any longer
'Cause you've deepened the conviction in my soul

Oh yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained

If I have to, I can do anything

I am strong
(Strong)
I am invincible
(Invincible)
I am woman

I am woman watch me grow
See me standing toe to toe
As I spread my lovin' arms across the land

But I'm still an embryo
With a long, long way to go
Until I make my brother understand

Oh yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained

If I have to, I can face anything

I am strong
(Strong)
I am invincible
(Invincible)
I am woman
I am woman
I am invincible
I am strong
I am woman
I am invincible
I am strong
I am woman

Yup.  Remember that one well.  Always felt that was how I felt about my son and I cuz it was just him and I alone together.

@rms1954

That was exactly the way Helen intended it - a mother singing to her child.  Her little daughter was actually the child's voice saying "mommy" at the beginning and end of the song.

This song "I  Am Woman"  was one of my very first 45 records!

Helen Reddy inspired generations of young women like me to be the best they could be.

Thank you, Ms. Reddy, for being such a wonderful musical artist.

Your music will never be forgotten.

@World Traveler She was one of my very favorites. I am just not into music anymore. My life went sour when I was very nieve and was trusting and very happy in a life that  was a big mirage. My 1st husband and my youngest were very big liars to me. I am still trying to pull myself up and be happy.
