As you wisely said, however, we have no idea about the workings of QVC and what goes on regarding the how, what or why of the mods. They do their job and I respect that.
It has long been surmised by some of us that in several ways the moderators' hands are tied, so to speak.
@Moonchilde,I agree w that as well.

The "same names" I'd list as troublemakers or whatever you'd call them might not match your list lol.
I see a lock icon on the thread btw. iPad.

The mods could have let it stay up. They took the easy way out and allowed those one or two to bring it down rather than assert their authority..
So in your opinion, any moderator must prioritize moderation over their other duties as dictated by QVC, and must take the time to bird-dog every post in every thread in every forum? You might want to write to QVC corporate with that suggestion.
Their "authority" extends to deleting individual posts, except for infrequent instances.

I think they certainly did assert their authority. A mod came on that thread more than once to remind everyone to stay on topic or it would be deleted.

And what about the "Changing Houses" thread? That started out being a pretty interesting conversation about the WH and the procedures of how things are done with each change. No names were mentioned and it was respectful. No politics were brought into it.
I was wondering about that thread. It seemed innocent enough when I last saw it.

@Juniebugz I don't have a list. I simply recognize in threads that tend to go south the same posters and it gets old.
Whomever the mods are repeatedly flagged as violating something is the only list that matters.

Call me naive, but I honestly thought that thread was about fashion and it was pleasant until.... the hidden jabs (well, the obvious jabs) began. And it was obvious throughout that the same people were guilty of it. Not everyone politics on the mind all the time.
Again, it gets old.
