Again, it gets old.
Again, some of the "same people" I see "guilty of it" weren't even posting on that thread. I saw hidden jabs on both sides.
Some people finally spoke up. Said what many were thinking (there were plenty of hearts on the now deleted posts)
Fact is nobody seems to want opposing views, divisiveness divisiveness alive and well..........and I don't think any of us are that naive.
We can agree to disagree.
Mod list is the one that matters........who's naughty who's nice lol.

@Juniebugz Which proves the point that, sadly, there are quite a few. Again, those individuals ruined it for everyone else. THAT is what matters.
Don't know what you are referring to as "finally spoke up"; you mean they called out the ones that ruined the thread? Good for them.
And you're right, not everyone wants to always be pulled into arugments and deal with mud-slinging. You can say you don't care for something and leave it at that; it's when you throw a jab in on top of the comment and it becomes an insult that it's wrong and ruins it.
Yep, that's what I said: the "mods list" is all that matters.

Some of us think thread shouldn't have been allowed in the first place. Was political in the guise of fashion. Normally not allowed.
No poster can ruin a thread that violated standards from the get go.
Different opinions on the thread.
THAT is what matters I suppose.
or........ what matters is what the Mods think. 😉

Sorry.
See you added to your post.
They finally spoke up about the fact the thread was political and a partisan love fest. And evidently something never allowed for previous inaugurations. Somebody called it the elephant in the room.
Posters wanted it all to be one sided and think anybody disagreeing is mud slinging or ruining the thread.
Yeah I think that gets old.

Being serious: HOW was it being political when discussing the clothes worn over the decades as well as what was worn today? How these women dress DOES play a role in fashion; look at Jackie Kennedy.
IMHO, it was a stretch.

Perhaps they'll let us know what their job entails. That would make for an interesting discussion.
The point is that it's not their ONLY job - and QVC doesn't feel it's their MOST important task above all others. They have already "let us know" what some of their other tasks are. Many people are aware; the moderators don't hide it. Whatever the other tasks might be it's none of *our* business. Neither the moderators nor QVC owe us an explanation. QVC's board, QVC's rules, as has been stated many times.
The idea that any one of us should have the right to hold QVC or its employees to account, to expect that we have some inherent right to "know all", is just...SMH.

@Juniebugz Just saw your post.
I didn't know that what Michelle wore was not permitted in prior threads. In that case, yeah, you can't have it both ways.

I've only been reading/posting since mid-2010. I can attest to the fact that for years even the slightest mention of the fashion in any political event or related to any political figure was deleted (inauguration, convention, campaign trail, speeches, anything). Usually pretty quickly. When I first saw the thread I simply thought "well, that won't last long." Came back later and was quite surprised to see it here. I only can wonder if the policies have been relaxed. It would be helpful to know this if it's so, but as always we post at their discretion and what will be will be. My posts get poofed... I move forward to the new day. I always thought it was an interesting topic, would love to see it allowed, but in the past it was on the taboo list.

I mainly came to this thread to give a "hello!" to @cody2. I miss you, my friend, and I'm always glad to see you drop by.❤️ Don't y'all be a stranger, now, y'hear? Take good care of yourself.
