I am returning an item to Amazon...I don't understand how I can show a QR code to the clerk at a UPS location (my local CVS  store) and the item will be returned properly...I was told I need no label on the package!  My store does not print out labels.

I don't buy much from Amazon so I guess I don't undestand the process.

@Mom2Dogs

Open your email on your phone and they will scan it off the email.

You can also print it off a printer

If they truly do not have a hand scanner and printer at the counter (and are you certain they don't?) then you might have to take it to either a UPS storefront or a post office.

I have a UPS store near me and I take my returns there, unlabelled, show them the email from QVC with the code, they scan it and the label is on the package in less time than it took me to type this.

@Mom2Dogs When dropping your return off at CVS, your item needs to be packaged and labeled since it's only a drop off location. When going to a UPS Store, most of the time you can bring the item, show the QR code, and the store employee will package it for you.  Sometimes, rarely, you may be required to package the item for the UPS store.  It will be stated on your Amazon UPS return document.found in your Amazon account.

...The email to me states no label needed, I guess they are assuming the store will scan and print a label.  I know for sure they do not...how do I get a label...I need an address to send it back?

@Mom2Dogs We can return to either a UPS Store or Staples, we do not need a label nor a box. I take the item, show the clerk the email that has the scan code in it and they scan it, by the time I get to the car I have a receipt notification in my email and usually have a credit receipt within an hour or two.

@Mom2Dogs, do you have an actual UPS store close by other than a drop off like your CVS?

Do you have a Whole Foods close by?

Can you choose a Kohl's as an option?

None of those need a label, just the code from Amazon website or email.

The problem is I am in a smaller town..no UPS Store, the only place that takes UPS drop offs is my local CVS...They DO NOT print a label.
