@Mom2Dogs

If when you went to return an item on Amazon and your local CVS was one of the drop offs, and it said you don't  need to label or box it, then CVS should be able to scan the code and wrap it in the necessary packageing. I usually use the UPS store, Kohls or Staples. It asked you where you wanted to take it. You can always call Amazon or call your CVS and ask them. If CVS says they can't do it, then I would call Amazon and ask them why they have CVS in your town listed as a drop off.(?)

Re: Question Amazon return

[ Edited ]

I have done Amazon returns at Staples.  You don't  need a label or box or envelope.  Your code is scanned and you are given a receipt.  The returned item goes into a  large box  containing other Amazon returns.  This one large box is sent to Amazon, eliminating the need to send 25 separate return shipments (I am guessing at the amount).

Just follow the return instructions and you should be fine.

@deeva. My CVS does not print labels.

@Mom2Dogs

Did you go to CVS?  Did they refuse the package?

They should scan the package and take it with no label.

I go to the QR code as directed by Amazon.  I take a picture with my camera.  I take it to UPS and they immediately refund my money and I am on my way.

@MezzieStarr  Hmmm, the prompts I followed are what you posted...FREE but I did not see where they would print me the label. I will go back and look...all I was sent was the QR Code to scan.

Maybe some larger drug stores/UPS drop offs offer printing a label but I know that my location does not.

thanks

Follow directions given. They tend to be clear. They will give you a code to print out. Just bring the printed paper and item to cvs. If you have questions you can call them

@Janey2

IF her printer is broken as mine is right now, she can take a picture on her phone camera and take it.

@Mom2Dogs Amazon will mail you a label for $1.00.

You should be seeing options like this:

Choose the UPS Dropoff option. (label needed)

After Amazon has issued you a label to print you will have the option to have a label mailed to your home.

Or you could pay for a UPS pickup at your house. ($7.99 fee typically)

You can also have the label emailed to you or a friend and have your friend or perhaps yourself print from a public library or other free source for a printer.

I shop a lot at Amazon and my job consists of me basically working with Amazon.

Hope this helps.

Yes, if you need to return an item to Amazon and don't have

a printer to print a label,

@MezzieStarr

Shopping at Amazon is a big part of my job.

@Mom2Dogs, let me ask you this before things get confusing.

Do you have a smart phone? If not, do you have a tablet you can bring?

You don't need to print anything as long as you can open your Amazon return order page, or an Amazon email. It should contain a QR code that gets scanned at places like UPS stores, Kohl's, and Whole Foods. Someone also mentioned Staples but I've never gone there.

Hope that helps. I know doing something for the first time can be confusing if not comfortable with some internet transactions.

@Etoile308 I've used Staples and Kohls.  I prefer Staples because it's right after you walk in the door.  But, it does need to be an option for return when you're going to the process.  If her Kohls is too far away, it might not be an option.
