@Mom2Dogs Check your returns on your Amazon account or the email.  There may be a link to print a label.

In all probability, all they need is the code which she can just photograph with her camera if her printer is broken.  Take it to Kohl's or CVS and they will take a picture of it, put it in a drop box and return it for her and by the time she gets home, she will have a refund.

@Mom2Dogs

I just did an Amazon return at Staples....as soon as you walk in, there are big circle on the carpet that say Amazon return and if you follow them, you are at the counter.  I had my QR code picture on my iPad.  They repackaged the package and scanned it and I was out the door.

I usually did my returns at Kohls but now I'm closer to UPS. All I do is show them the QR code that's sent from Amazon, they scan it, and that it's. I've seen them toss the item in a box in another room. Get my receipt and that's it. Done.

@jikz at the UPS I go to, they do not repackage anything. It's more like playing basketball, to see if they can toss it directly in a box in the other room.

That the truth. Sometimes you don't even need the box. They scan my phone take item give me a receipt and take the package into another room.  It's like magic.

If CVS is a pickup point for Amazon the clerk should know the procedure.

I don't print anything.  I get the QR code then take a picture of it with my phone.

I show the picture to the clerk and they scan it.  Ask for a receipt.  Done.

I have never had to package anything. The last thing I returned was a gas tank cover. Walked in, shower the QR cide to the attendant and that was it. Most of these items do not go back to Anazon. They are sold in bulk and people buy the palettes without knowing what's inside.

Thanks for the replies...I posted that my local CVS/UPS dropoff DOES NOT scan you package..the package MUST be labeled, all you do is hand the package with the label attached to the sales associate.

Maybe all of you live in a larger area...I do not.

I ended up doing a live chat with Amazon and she emailed me a label.

Why are they making things so difficult? Kohls and my UPS always scan the QR code. I pull it up on my phone and then they give me a receipt.

Also once you do the return Amazon would ask which Company you would like for your drop off. I always choose Kohls or UPS. No packaging needed, you just hand it to them.

So yes, maybe it's because of the area, but it shouldn't be. That's not fair.
