She's got a right to be hot too!  LOL.

@gertrudecloset   I bet she's not suffering without AC.

You got that right @Kachina624 .  She can stay indoors in the cool of her castle.

@gertrudecloset    She's probably sitting in Windsor Castle in a comfy, cool mumu.

She's probably fine with it, very elderly people aren't bothered by hot weather like the rest of us....

I don't know where you got the info that elderly people can stand the heat better than the young. In my experiance, that is not true!!  I used to be able to lay out in the sun for hours, now I can't wait to get into the house with the A/C!!

My understanding has always been that's it's the very young and the elderly (perhaps 70+) who are most susceptible to various heat illnesses.

This is CORRECT from everything I've read about severe heat too!

@Mersha

I think it might be a good time to give the guards the week off.  Not many would notice if they put a manequin in full dress in some far off corner.

Can you even imagine wearing that costume in 100 degree heat?

Re: Queen Not Wearing Matching Coat Today?

Those most vulnerable in severe heat are the very young and those over 65, according to everything I have always heard about heat-related illnesses. Our local news reported two deaths today from heatstroke. It is now 8:30 pm here and is down to 102 degrees.
