What would you have them do? They have no resources. No power, no food, no water. It was complete devastation. "Us" is them. They are American citizens and should be treated as such. I saw no such criticism of the people of TX or FL when they asked for help.

Yes and waves of downpours, not just one rainstorm.

The major cities are bad enough; but all those stranded in smaller communities with bridges out and nothing left.

Why can't all the outlets focus on the humanity of it all; I cannot believe people are going to keep using this horrific crisis to toot all those sour notes, and both sides are guilty.

Have you been following this at all, because that is not what's happening.

The immediate problem has NOTHING to do with rebuilding the island.  

THE PROBLEM IS THAT PEOPLE ARE DYING WITHOUT FOOD, WATER AND MEDICINE.

And guess what?  Supplies are on the island, American troops are on the island but NOTHING has been done, the containers of supplies are just sitting there UNOPENED.  WHY?  We don't know.

It is up to us to rebuild PR.  They are American citizens.

An FYI because some here are unaware of Puerto Rico's contribution to US taxes.

DIRECT RELIEF (an organization) is there. An organization of volunteer doctors.  They have some medication and are going out to the people to deliver it and treat them.

Where the heck are all our people who are supposed to be doing that?

I think most women can multi-task, bark orders, creatively problem solve, delegate, etc. in their sleep......just sayin....and quickly, effectively, compassionately and with a smile on our face.
