Received their latest ad in my newspaper today.  They are now selling Cuisinart and Copper Chef items.  They are featuring a Copper Chef 12 inch electric skillet with removable base.  You can use the pan on the stove top, oven or electric base.  Price is $49.96. Other Copper Chef items available also.  They are trying very hard to compete with Amazon.

The WalMart by me has had Cuisinart products for quite some time and Copper Chef has been part of their line up since they started their commercials (and Sam's Club has had a wonderful set that I almost bought....)  but I'm going to get the skillet....!  Thanks for the heads up because I don't get the flyer and think I'll have to make a run to WalMart tomorrow..... Woman LOL

Re: NEW BRANDS AT WALMART

[ Edited ]

.Our Walmart has them as well.  They also have a sign up stating we can order on line and pick up in the store now.  I have not done that there yet.

Kohl's does  that also.  At Kohl's I pick up at the service desk, checked my products for quality , pay and go home.  Works great as I can make sure I get a special priced item before it sells out.   I pick up later same day.  They sell many major brand kitchen items.  I watch for sales, coupons and earned credits and save a lot on my gifts.

Nothing new, I purchased my Copper Chef skillet with glass lid earlier this year for $20, I use it every day.    Very light weight.

One thing Walmart did change recently is their ease in ordering online to pick up same day.   My local Walmarts have created a little kiosk area in the front of the store, same end of the store where you can pick up your pre-ordered groceries, which I use also.   The pick up kiosk is surrounded by lockers and very nice seating.   You use a touch screen to put in your name or order number, before I had a chance to sit, an employee greeted me, went to the locker for my item.   She even waited until I opened it for inspection.  I asked if should would take all the outer packaging for disposal and she did.   (I ordered Ree  Drummond's knives, they are very good)

I would never shop with Amazon except I earn incentives at work and we get "rewarded" with Amazon gift cards.   I usually save them up all year for 1 order for Christmas gifts.   I am beyond pleased with Walmart pick up and their delivery service and have for years.  Plus I'm keeping my neighbors employed.

Amazon and WalMart both get lots of my money. I don’t usually buy things from Amazon that I can find at WalMart but sometimes it is about whether I want to run to WalMart or not or if I can wait 2 days to get it in the mail.

@WORKING GAL  It's pretty wild the things you can buy at Walmart, in house and mostly online. AND without paying extra, a lot of items I can receive in 2, count them TWO DAYS. Love it!

You mean Walmart is selling Cuisinart bakeware, etc. ?

That will lose the snob appeal now for those who liked to impress others

with their pricey French stuff.

@SharkE I wonder if you are thinking about le cruset as that is the really expensive stuff that I can't afford.

Yep, I posted to early and got my connections crossed.

Thought that was odd Le Frenchy would be in Walmart.

I like Cuisinart better any way.

Thanks !
