Particularly the word either.

Do you pronouce it with a long "e" . . . either,

or with a long "i" . . . either ??

Feel free to add any other words!!

I pronounce it "i-ther".  And "on-velope".

This morning I heard Carolyn Pollack (sp?) talk about an aunt.  She said she pronounces it "ont" because she is from the state in which I reside.  I too say "ont".  But if I am talking about one of my favorites I say auntie, pronounced "an-tee".

Interesting, really had to think about it, agree with some that said both ways, think I do that with lots of words, wonder why?
