Oh, great, now there's going to be an argument, er, ah, discussion about who should get special parking privileges.

Oy! Yeah, you just know this will get ugly. Hey - how about parking spots for ugly people? {#emotions_dlg.blink}

That lot is full. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Honestly, I don't even pay attention to who is allowed certain spots and if they qualify.

Who has time for that?

Pregnancy is not an illness, it is a part of life, a good part. Those parking spots are ridiculous. We have spots that are "mother with children" spots at our grocery store. That is ridiculous also, I will park anywhere I want other than the Handicap Parking, which is very necessary.

Many times it comes with an illness. And that's the truth. Think outside the box.

I prefer to park far away from the entrance...it's nice to get in a little more exercise...especially on a nice day.

Me too. I also park far away from everyone so I don't get my doors dinged.

The store that has parking for 'mothers with children' may have considered child safety to be important enough to warrant avoiding any being accidentally struck by drivers entering or exiting.

Most times children listen and obey but other times they run. No mother or child is perfect but perfection is an expectation of some, injured child be darned.

They are not endorsed by law enforcement so I've been known to use them if I need a parking place and they are the only thing left within a decent distance from the store.

Some women have miserable pregnancies, especially towards the end. In addition to the weight gain, there can be low back pain and significant water retention with ankle/calf swelling that make it much more difficult to walk. Toss in another child to wrangle and I'd bet most of us who have ever been in that situation would be very thankful for that parking space. I know I would have!

I agree with you....
