if a friend asks...

i had a turkey salad with apples and cranberries wrap for lunch... 

and pepsi to drink

My wrap was cut in  2 halfs half  and i ate most all of one half!

brought home  other 1/2 half part of it...it was sooooo tasty!

Daughter had a duh.  sandwich also.can't remember now name of it...i know she had thousand island  dressing on the side  for it...also onion rings   and unsweetened tea to drink

yes,we went to a thrift store before we ate...i bought her 3 prs   ofjeans  and 2 tops  3 prs   and 2 sweaters for myself.

Later..went to Goodwill store...me 2 sweaters...her 3tops

Stopped at a Marshall's store...me-0...daughter bought 2 Serta bamboo sleeping pillows  for her bed.

Then we returned back to my house....i was given "13" bottles of 2 lieters of Coke  she bought me a month or 2 ago and was in her car all that time...

We has a great day together!

oops  after daughter left...i got on my computer  and ordered me 2 new sets of Craft&Barrel pjs  from Ebay...both from same seller..

  i asked for lower price on each set  and got it!

seller wanted $16.99  i offered$14.00  for cotton pjs -  purple with white poka dots..and it was accepted!     but had to pay shipping of $5.00 and  $1.24 tax

second set was for 2pc thermo pjs   with stars   and  wanted $18.69... plus$5.00 shipping and $1.24 tax...i offered seller $14.00 and was accepted

Today was a good day for sales for me!

it makes my heart sing that ur daughter and @cowboy sam went on a most fantastical adventure

great eats - and oh my the shopping

u always seem to get something

i tend to walk around - with empty hands

then go get a cookie and cawfee - which is always good in my book

i knew you were worried about her

you hung in there and she knows she can lean on you if she needed to

sometimes u need alone time - she is recharged and out and about which is good

i'm sure the day lifted you both up 💜

Drama.... : The only reason siblings were notified about brother: His family was trying to collect money all week .The last text they were asking for $12,000 burial. Siblings suggested cremation and that was rejected. Siblings suggested sending $500. With in the hour text message that funeral paid for and private with immediate family only. Obituary notice on funeral home site: last sentence 8 siblings and no names listed.🙄😯

DH brother here in town: for him and wife to fly and hotel $2000. All siblings agreed to send no money, no travel and no more contact with that family.

While I was in the waiting room for my stress test  and none of the above had happened except the request for money: The SIL that lives 45 minutes from us: called me. I told her where I was and couldn't talk but she kept running her loud mouth. Everyone in the waiting room was looking at me.. They finally called my name. It was only to get the IV started and I returned to the waiting room. Everyone looked and asked if they could help. I just asked for extra prayers. Told them it was DH Birthday and I had to keep this second appointment.

DH had a good birthday considering everything else.

Ok. Forgot this. This morning received a text message from the warranty service about DH recliner. They have assigned a technician and they will contact us within 3 days for hopefully repairing the recliner.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Glad you are having your treatments.  How are you feeling?

I saw on the main thread that you are a champ in exercising 

on your feet device.  Mine is sitting unused - I need to transfer it in front of sofa, in front of tv.  I guess I need much entertainment!

As far as the "famous funeral fiasco," I have never heard of such a thing,  If there is a lack of money for an elegant goodbye, then a simple goodbye will do.  But asking for $$???

They could have waited and charged admission to the funeral home.  But, truth be told, most of us have some cray cray relatives we just ignore and would like to forget.  This family is one.

I feel sorry that you have had to deal with that.  But happy you are getting your recliner fixed!
