Based on how hot some areas of our country have been, I thought it only right that we all thank the man who invented the Air Conditioner.
Great invention, but I didn't realize he invented it in 1902!
Willis Haviland Carrier (November 26, 1876 - October 7, 1950) was an American engineer, best known for inventing modern air conditioning, inventing the first electrical air conditioning unit in 1902.

Grateful!!! I didn't grow up with a/c but, after working for the past 50-something years in climate controlled buildings, it has become necessary to have it. I have become a lightweight!

I'm a warm weather gal, but I like just enough AC to remove humidity. What bothers me is the extreme AC in the stores. I have to wear two sweatshirts in Target and the grocery in July. Even my hands get cold.
