@Yahooey : Totally know what you are dealing with. Enjoy the peace and quite and rest.

Trying to do as little as possible. Sam's club ordered delivered. Just made a meatloaf  for tomorrow  and will put it in the oven after lunch. DH eating at Texas Road house and will bring me a large salad and sweet potato. 

I will wait till Monday to do laundry and start cleaning house.🤗❤🙏🙏🙏☕☕☕☕☕☕🍪🍪🍪

I'm doing my usual weekend cleaning and laundry.

@Yahooey, you're going to be fighting a losing battle with all those construction ickies until your project is done.  But it's good to clean up what you can as you go along.  At least you'll feel better about it until the workers start in again next week!

I was checking to see yesterday if any spring flowers were up....i have a dandenlion blooming

plus

2 big clumps of my minature purple iris' croqus blooming!!

Yesterday afternoon..neighbor called me and we went for a short walk  as we got" rained" on...and had to hustle walking fast to get back home!

This morning i have patches of light snow in parts of my front yard!  SMH!

but its sunny!

high of 38!

No one has called so...i will catch up on laundry!

Update on coughing!

I bought some "childrens"  ages 6&over Robitussin Cough&Cold  long lasting up to8 hours relief... fruit punch flavored   the other day...and it  has worked. i t has "no "alcohol in it   so..i seldom cough now! yay!

@Yahooey... Ugh, "construction ickies" are the worst part with major renovations even though they use plastic sheeting in entry area(s) to help contain it somewhat from getting into other rooms...Zoe needs to be careful too...don't want it getting on her paws and then she licks herself.

I have something I want to share with you...While browsing "YouTube" the other night, I came across a video about using Bananas when planting Tomato Plants...So, of course, I thought of you right away and clicked on the video..The guy recommended taking a somewhat ripened Banana (do not peel) and just break it up into chunks...Place in the hole where you will be planting your Tomato Plants...then cover with a couple of inches of dirt...and then plant your Tomato Plants...He said that the Potassium in the Bananas is what will nourish the Tomato Plants and also serve as a disease deterrent to a certain degree.

He showed two Tomanto Plants that he had planted...one with the Banana and the other without...The one planted with the Banana was more heartier and produced more Tomatoes.

@cowboy sam ...It is such a happy sight to see our flowers and flowering bushes starting to show buds!...Our Tiger Lilies and also our Rose of Sharon bush are starting to bud...I think we might be in for an early Spring....If I remember correctly, sweet "Punxsutawny Phil" didn't show his shadow on Groundhog Day so we shall see how accurate he is this year.

ai gotz a few daffidillies popping its head up with buds

some are just leaves still 

a few larger sprouts are trying to come up - but very few

will probably pop some pepper seeds in to get them going this afternoon

the seeds i popped over a week ago - still nada

sunny 30s and going up to 40 but the nigjhts are stil falling to the 20's -

what's up wid dat?

i've been watching this guy do ceramics a few years ago during the pandemic, thought they were beautiful and he was based in the UK

since I knew renovations would be happening - i decided to gift myself

he is one man doing handmade pottery - so i signed up for notifications when items are available to purchase - you cannot go to his site and purchase- no inentory

I did that in December and of course nothing was available

anyway - got a notificaiton that the site would go live in early Jan

it gives a date and time

i was on there las soon as it opened

purchased 2 mugs - 

and when i came back a few hours later - everything was sold out

since he knew how many he can produced monthly - it is a limited amount

it shipped over a week ago and i got them yesterday

i will not be drinking cawfee from them until the kitchen is done

he included a small shot glass as a gift - maybe i will use that in case i need a lil ....

once something is imbedded in my pea brain...

his color palette are mostly blues

i like blues - very soothing

not a yellow or green fan - except in outdoor gardens

my kitchen is white cabinets - black countertop
