{#emotions_dlg.sad}How sad...

We had a huge group of bees show up 2 years ago...I mean like in a ball...they covered most of one huge oak tree. I went in the yard...didn't see them...they blended into the color of the bark. As I stood there I heard an intense buzzing. Scared the heck out of me. Called our exterminator to ask what we should do...I mean it was 1,000's. He came to take a look and said leave them until the next day he bet they will have moved on...sure enough they were gone.

We've never had a swarm on our property but from what I've heard in the news, these don't move on and are easily provoked.

Africanized Bees are very aggressive. I thought these might be because they were huge in size...he said they were not but were another kind of aggressive bee. He seemed to know what he was saying.

Re: Police dog dies from bee attack

I'm so sorry to hear this{#emotions_dlg.sad}. At least this poor dog was not left in a police vehicle, as has happened too danm many times in Arizona.
