@gardensla, lol, glad you're having a good time! It is fun to see what other people's pet peeve's are, & which ones we share. Some of them I keep wanting to give 5 hearts at a time to, I agree with them so much! ![]()

People who wait to get over for a lane closure that they've been aware of for over a mile.
I'll never let you in.

@gardenslaOMG YES! Clearly, you've been in the same line!
Hey! You talkin' about me? YES you are! I always pay with a phone app or a credit or store card because I HATE digging around for change and have it rattling around in my handbag. AND, since I don't go in these coffee shops very often I am ignorant--and when I go there, I have to figure out what size is what and explain I want half coffee, half MILK and a cup with a lot of ice in it. No, I do not want flavorings, no I do not want soy milk, no I do not want a quart cup. I want coffee, MILK and Ice in a cup that is smaller than my head.
So next time, say "hi" to me! LOL!!!!
@Sooner I would so say "hi" to you in that coffee line! Loved your comment! LOL!!

When I went to the gro. store before work this morning and only got a basket for a few items I wandered if the term "basket" is not used all over the country? It is really interesting.

I've always known a shopping cart to be called a shopping cart.
But those little 'baskets' (plastic baskety looking things with an handle on top) for when you only need a few things and don't want to push a shopping cart around - I always considered them to be a 'basket' also.

People who never wash their hands after using this--->🚽
I can't stand any "evidence" let behind, either. Don't care if one little bugger keeps popping back up, keep flushing the toilet until it's gone.

We were also brought up to turn off lights when you left a room. It makes good sense. For me, it's also about my disdain for being wasteful. I don't care for wastefulness and every bit counts so I just don't leave lights on that are not necessary. I probably have to go above and beyond to try and make up for the husband and cleaning lady, both of whom are a bit wasteful.
Usually, when I was growing up, if one didn't turn off a light, and just before getting knocked upside the head, we'd get the old 'were you born in a barn?'. Sooo many times I wanted to ask that awful woman 'well, you were there - you tell me'. HA! I'd probably not be alive to tell about it.
