Perry Como special.  What a great show.  You would think I was 100 years old with some of the shows I watch!

He was way before my time but I remember mom and dad listening to his music as well as Andy Williams and so many others.  It's cold out and I just came in from working in the yard, heated some apple cider and now Perry!  Starting to feel like Christmas and the Holiday season finally.

Hope everyone enjoys their evening!

Love Perry Como.  His classic Christmas album is one of my favorites especially since he does Christmas Dream, a beautiful song that no one else seems to have done.  It was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and was used in the movie The Odessa File.  Always puts me in the Christmas spirit.

PBS is wonderful.  I watch 3 of their 4 channels, and enjoy them all.  Right now they are doing their fund raising, and that is when they show many of those old movies.  That's what folks like, and they know it.

Don't have cable in my bedroom, but PBS is one I can watch.  Many nights when trying to go to sleep I have it on Create or World.  Just depends on what is on at that time.

I turn 72 next week.  My brain says go go go and my body says no no no!  Ha!

Some days I feel old other days.....not too much....

My point is I love some of those same shows too.  I enjoy seeing everyone's different post.  @Jtdmum @ShowMe and others.  I like it when all of you post what you enjoy.

That's what makes life interesting, we're all different.  I've learned a lot from all of you coming here.  There are shows I'd have missed seeing had not one of you (all of you) mentioned it in different threads.

Please continue to post your likes, dislikes and ho hums.  It calls these shows to people like myself who enjoys some of everything and everyone.Smiley Happy

My Mom adored Perry Como, always said he had great family values, no gossip about him, she loved that.

Loved Perry Como - I was a young girl when he had his shows on tv.  My goals at that time were to be a dancer on the Perry Como show or a cowgirl - even had a complete cow girl outfit and a Hopalong Cassidy pearl handled revolver.  Neither dream came true of course and it turns out I'm afraid of horses - even though they are beautiful.  My other plan was to marry Ricky Nelson and that didn't pan out either.  Anyhow, saw the Perry Como thing on PBS and loved it - was surprised how many words I knew to his songs.

@Annabellethecat66.......well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY next week.

My body says the same thing to me.  I know what I can and cannot do.....and it gets very frustrating.....especially when I know what I used to be able to do.

It is so much more pleasant to post what interests other than to be involved in some of the nasty stuff that goes on.  It isn't worth my time or energy any more.

As long as is possible I will continue to post on here.

I also like to watch HGTV......love looking at the decorating.....it has always been a passion of mine.  Love working with fabrics, woods, and colors.  If I had my life to do all over again, think I would love being an interior decorator (not designer).
