I imagine in these types of buildings it is difficult to maintain temperatures during times of extreme heat or cold.  If these conditions affect us adversely unfortunately we have to alter our plans the best we can.  One place I hate to be in when the AC isn't working well is a clothing store.  It seems various materials (ie carpeting, clothing, product) in the store absorbs that heat and humidity and emits odor.

I just hope the electrical grid doesn't falter from overuse.

I'm not sure that has anything to do with the issue.

Any Walmart I have ever been to had a double entrance.  You enter into an enclosed lobby of sorts (for lack of a better word) then again through another set of doors into the store.

I was at Walmart this AM. and it was nice and cool thank heavens because the heat and humidity is getting to me.

Okay, that can be reason #20 why I don't like going to Wal-Mart!

Shop there in the evenings when it's cooler.

VOTE WITH YOUR FEET!!!!

Whining and moaning here ain't gonna do much.  Talking to the store manager is probably as useless.

I find it hard to believe a Walmart is warm....a.n.y.w.h.e.r.e.

I’ve shopped in their newest/fanciest location here in DFW

to the most country-of-outback-country of Walmart’s...

both in the middle of summer....and never once was

temperature an issue.

Having this conversation wrapped around ‘long lines’ complaint,

as well as ‘out of stock’ complaint...it’s the bi-weekly ‘bag on Walmart’

thread. Hard to believe summer, kids, and back to school shopping

might exist....shock😮

I would not be saying that they are just trying to save money on their AC bill. Perhaps they have an older AC system in that store?
