Lately in this heat and humidity our Walmart is barely cooler than the outside temp! It is not a place you can even get cool. Our Kroger is so cool you want to stay in for a long time! I am sure Walmart can afford to turn the AC up! Having asthma it is actually hard to be in there.
Long lines and soo slow. Not everyone wants to go use the self check lines but I do sometimes when it is taking a super long time to get thru the line.
They really need to address these issues!
Today when I was in Walmart, there are signs everywhere where things are out of stock, saying they are trying hard to get them back.
Being our only store that is a dept type store this is all just not good.
Yes I have put my two cents in to the Manager and the Walmart online corporate site. Not that it will help.

I hate when stores have "barely there" AC. They probably get customers that say it is too cold when they turn it up higher but I can't deal with that phony AC in these stores. I like when stores are cold lol

The doors open so many times during the day that it is hard to keep the store cool.I think during high humidity the air conditioner canāt keep up.The empty shelves problem is something corporate should get notified about though if they want to stay profitable.

@dex I dont care at all about the empty stock. the other things I do care about though

Their AC maybe running over time during this heat wave. Super hot is tough on AC units. It just cant keep up.
Hope the problem is solved soon. And I hope you gave the WM management encouraging words during their troubles.

My WM opens at 5am and I'm usually there when the doors open on Sunday mornings. I've never felt it too hot or too cold inside, except by the cooler and freezer sections...that will always be cold over there for me. I don't spend a lot of time there but for the most part it's comfortable inside my WM store.

@FlowerBearI'd probably be more comfortable at your Walmart temperature than at Kroger's, but I would not be happy with the empty shelves- I've lived in areas where there's not much shopping choice, so I know what frustration that must be.

I've never noticed a Walmart store being warm, in fact just the opposite - comfortably cool. It might be your particular store's attempt to save money. I wonder who makes the store's temperature decision.....corporate or individual store managers.

I would think all the ceiling and other lights in any large store give off a lot of heat that contributes to the airco having to work harder keeping the place comfortable during hot spells.
