I have often thought if this forum disappeared I would surely miss some of my friends. This is the only forum I'm involved in. I'm not on social media much, only for some specific hobbies I have, but not people related.
Do you ever think about that? I've been here since the beginning, through thick and thin and unbelievable and irrational! LOL!!!

What a horrible thought. I would miss a lot of people on here.
I am active in two other social media forums and, if any of them ever went away, I'd miss the people I spend my work days with. A lot.

i have not really thought about it. i am already registered on the hsn forums so i suppose i could go there. i do have other forums, groups, and social media that i am involved with so i would just have to move on.
i have been using these forums for about 14 years now.

This is the only forum I've been a part of for the last 23 years. If it ceased operation, I would not replace it. I have never been a very prolific poster, mostly just a reader.

Of course I would miss posters here but most likely I would start commenting more on other sites that I rarely post on now since there’s only so much time in a day 🤣

@SoonerI would miss a lot of posters. I miss the ones we have lost, and hope they are OK. I miss the ones that have passed on, and wonder about a few, I know were in poor health. God bless all of them

@Sooner This is the first website I visit every day. If it were gone there would be an empty spot hard to fill. I go to facebook where I am member of several groups there... and my other group sites I visit daily where I share passions I have....... but, QVC forums are really very special. I have found no other community as great as these forums.

@Sooner Are you psychic? The question you raise has been on my mind the last few days. There was one other forum I participated in for about sixteen years or so but it folded in 2017.
It was more free ranging than this, and allowed/included political stuff if kept polite. A lot of comaraderie developed there over the years and I so miss those folks.
There was another one that was for discussions about the Nesco roasters but that and a Kitchen Aid Forum also are defunct.
If this forum goes belly-up (and I sure hope it doesn't) I would miss so many here because I "lurked" for a long time before engaging more actively.
So I, too, would like some suggestions for other enjoyable safe sites. I know some of the now missing posters during one of this site's changes had another place or two to go to but for the life of me I can't conjure up the name of it--which they obliquely referenced long ago.
And some of them had exchanged e-mail and phone numbers somehow, which is now not possible, and even got together in person.

Hi Sooner,
I've been here much longer than my profile indicates, so would miss it if it disappeared. It has saddened me that many of the best posters have left due to restraints placed on posting language/content. I get that, but sure do miss them all.
That's one reason I'm not on here as frequently as in the past. Another is that in the last 2 years or so I've originated topics, only to have too many snarky remarks made for absolutely no good reason. The population of mean people has exploded in the last 10 years (since 2008).
There are 2 other forums which interest me, but not frequently: one on migraine and one on CRPS. It's my choice not to hang out there frequently beause there's lots of moaning, groaning, "what can I do,?" end of the world pain type stuff that just drags one down. I can only take that in little bits. Though I do have a FB account, I haven't posted much on my page in 2018 because that entire year was one big series of injuries, one after another. What's to post when you're miserable? But I do belong to a number of FB groups, which I do check out on a fairly regular basis and that's fun.
However, there is no other forum like this one to which I belong, so would really miss this one.
Happy New Year, Sooner!

@sfnative All you said is true, and lots of our posters have passed on too. I can think of so many. I was here longer than it says too, way back in the last century! LOL!!!! I'm not sure how far back I go but I know it was in the 1990's.
I was three then. ![]()
And Happy New Year right back at you and at all of us! A resolution for me would be to be nicer here!
