I did not watch his testimony. Since the KC trial I refuse to get involved in these trials but do follow stories. He is either guilty or stupid. Who shoots without checking where their mate is? No one just randomly starts shooting through doors, if they think there is an intruder. I just don't buy it. Plus people heard them arguing beforehand. IMO hes crying after the fact so he can get out of it.

I think he is sorry for what he's done. That being said, how do you not notice your mate is not in bed, particularly when you pick up a gun from that side of the bed. If you think a burglar is locked in your bathroom, who pumps 4 shots through the door, hearing screams between the shots? When security calls after neighbors report the shots and screams, who says everything is OK?

He's a great actor, as well as an athlete.

All I can say is wait for the cross examination. There are so many holes in his story, and I am sure they will go all in now that he has consented to testify. He has no choice but to submit now to the prosecution's questions. His testimony in the defense part of the trial was meant to garner sympathy and compassion.

Those were my exact concerns. If it's so obvious to us, then I would expect the prosecutor
to ask some very pointed questions tomorrow along the same lines. I'm anxious to hear what Oscar will say.

I just cannot imagine not speaking or jabbing to get the person's attention who is supposed to be next to me in bed that someone is in the house. How many times in our own lives have we woke our significant other up and said ""did you hear that""?

His story just does not sound right to me.

This guy is a real piece of work! I don't believe a word he says. He's a spoiled baby but a great actor.

He is probably very sincere - in hoping that they don't convict his sorry backside!! Guilty as sin. I heard a psychologist the other day commenting on his courtroom behavior. She said all the wailing and crying and vomiting when they were describing Steenkamp's horrific injuries was typical of the reaction of a narcissist when they are forced to face what they've done to another. She said he truly was upset and ill but not for Steenkamp - for himself.

I just have a hard time believing his story. And I saw something this morning where he admitted that he was "besotted" with her, more than she was with him. I feel it was a jealous rage, IMHO. I still have a hard time wrapping my head around an intruder locking himself in the bathroom. But beyond that, not first checking to see where his mate was seems awfully suspect. And I believe the tears and vomit are the fear of what might be ahead for him.
