Has anyone been listening to his testimony? I'm so conflicted on this case after hearing him speak. He seems so sincere and distraught- I can't imagine him shooting his girlfriend on purpose.

I haven't listened to it.
Am I correct...he shot her through the bathroom door in spite of her screams? I thought I read that somewhere. Haven't really kept up. If that's the case I don't see how he can be innocent?

I agree. At first I really thought he did it on purpose but I am on the fence with this. This could all be an act but if so he is a really good actor. If it were me, I think there is enough reasonable doubt here to not put him in jai. Granted though, I haven't followed the entire trial.

All his crying and getting sick all the time is getting on my last nerve...JMO.

Maybe I'm cynical, but I think he's putting on an act. There have been many reports of him being a hothead and that's why I have serious doubts that it was an accident. He was upset with Reeva as she was seen talking to a former boyfriend at a party, and I believe things escalated from there. I think it was a crime of passion, one that he probably really does regret now, but I just don't think it was an accident. Also, Reeva's texts that were recently made public revealed that she admitted to being afraid of him. That's not a good sign, IMO.

Yes, he shot her through the door. He said he thought someone was in there and before he knew it he had fired 4 shots.
The defense is claiming the screams were from him- yelling for Reeva to call 911 and yelling at the "intruder". The guy testified he feels vulnerable because of his disability and the fact he is a public figure. So he would wake up terrified at any sound in his house. I can understand his perspective....

You can purposely kill someone and still be distraught. People who commit acts of domestic violence do it all the time. They hurt the one they supposedly love, and then feel guilty about it. His acting upset has no bearing on his guilt or innocence to me.
I haven't followed the case that closely, but didn't he shoot her 4 times?

I didn't know about the texts. I haven't followed this trial enough to give a good educated opinion it seems.
If he is found innocent maybe acting should be his next adventure.

I also heard he was a hothead and her text to him was telling- sometimes I'm afraid of the way you snap at me- or something to that effect. I agree he could be acting (and if he is, he deserves an Academy Award), but he could have also woken up terrified and vulnerable (I don't think he slept with his prosthetics) and just grabbed his gun and fired.
Think about how vulnerable any of us would feel in bed at night if we couldn't just leap up and run. Also, he may have felt a target because of his celebrity. I'm really torn on this one.
