Opinions please

Ok, my employer (college) is pretty much requiring that all faculty submit a photo for the webpage. I do not want to. I do not have Facebook or MySpace. I do not tweet or anything else like that. My name is there and my classes and such -- which is fine I guess but I do not feel comfortable having a picture out there. The other day my boyfriend said, "Wow, you are the only person I know without pics on the web." That is true and I like it that way. There are privacy issues and such and I just think it is my right to make pictures public or not. If others want to do it, fine but why make me . . . Your opinions, legal and otherwise. Thanks!
