The queen also has an emerald necklace and earrings that I have lusted over for years.   She often wears them with the tiars

The tiara was stunning. Actually, all the tiaras that the modern royal brides wore were beautiful. To paraphrase Mel Brooks, it’s good to be the king...or the queen.

What channel carried the wedding?    And, where's the thread with all the photos?

TLC showed the entire wedding.  I don't know where the photos are posted, cannot find them.

@lovesallanimals  @Tyak  here is the thread: Eugenie's Wedding

Tyak:  Thank you!  I am so mesmerized by that tiara, I cannot stop looking at it, it is just incredible!

It’s a shame Eugenie has to give it back.

Re: OMG - That Tiara!!

[ Edited ]

A bit of history about the tiara. It is personal property of Queen Elizabeth and is not a part of the Crown Jewels.
“The bride took a less expected route when she chose the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara, which is seldom worn publicly by members of the royal family.

The Greville tiara was created by the Parisian jewelry house Boucheron for Dame Margaret Greville in 1919.

Greville, a socialite who was close with the royal family, gave the tiara to Queen Elizabeth I (the current queen's mother) in 1942.” The Queen inherited the tiara from her mother.

The fabric of the gown appears plain until you see a close up.  Then you see the embroidery, which makes it exquisite.  Perfect dress.  She really did look absolutely beautiful!

Dress, venue, ceremony, evening dress perfection. If that weren't enough...

The way bride and groom adoringly gazed continually smiling in love.
