This is such a historic moment and yet I haven't seen a single photo commemorating her return to the court after successfully battling cancer at age 85 for the third time! It would be heartwarming to see her collaborating with our newest Justice, Brett Cavanaugh.

I find her fascinating. People seem to forget she and Scalia were good friends who socialized together with their families outside the court. There is no need to be mortal enemies just because you disagree with someone politically. DH and I are total opposites on many issues.
Exactly! I don't know why (well, I do but...) everything has to be a 'us vs them' deal with some folks. It gets tiresome.
I'm very glad she is doing well and appreciate her for numerous reasons. Too bad some who, just for certain reasons, just want her to go away. She has done a lot of good and, while I know some folks are not into stuff like 'good' and 'facts', she is to be appreciated and honored.

@10sluvr, I'm just guessing, but I have a feeling that those who might attach "super hero" to her name do so for for reasons of their own that don't and shouldn't be posted here. Do you agree?

Wonderful news! The Notorious RBG truely is an awesome woman and an inspirational one as well. Glad she is back at work!

Amid so much misery, something to cheer!
May she continue to thrive in light and love.

bikerbabe,
I have never forgotten the firm and fond friendship between the two justices since I first read about it many years ago.
Their love of opera created a bridge between them.
Humanity is the bridge for all to connect with someone from an opposing political party. Why do I write this? Because I have so many dear friends and relatives -- whom I cherish!-- who vote against my choice. I know I've written about this before, but it is the plain and simple truth. I live this.
Would you believe that most of my closest intimates are supporters of the party that I do not select? 'Tis true. I don't know why but that's the way it is.
