Re: No organization will take a stray cat..........

Probably repeating but trap him and get him neutered. He might settle down. ALL of the animals anyone feeds that they don’t own should be spayed or neutered IMO.  It’s the responsible thing to do.

Re: No organization will take a stray cat..........

Do a search for no-kill shelters...they are usually receptive to strays...we have a place here called Feral Friends....wonderful people and they took an entire litter of kittens that a mama gave birth to in my flower bed of all places...and then disappeared a few days later...I fear the worst for her fate...but the organization took all four of the babies....and found homes for them as soon as they were weaned...I had an older, very territorial cat at the time so couldn’t keep them. Also google “no-kill” and “ feral” and I hope you have luck finding them a home.

You have a tuxedo kitty! Love them. I have a solid black cat and I adore her...so sweet with huge green/ yellow eyes...my little panther. Can’t imagine why they are hard to find homes for.

In my area, you'd have to find a rescue group to take a cat. The pound won't take them.  Unfortunately, the ignorance of people has caused an excessive amount of cats/kittens and there simply aren't enough places to take them all.  Our rescue groups are overrun with cats and kittens.

Many people think nothing of leaving their homes and leaving their cats behind.  Many people think nothing of allowing their cats to roam the neighborhoods freely and many of these cats are not spayed or neutered and it makes the problem even worse.  I had a cat give birth to kittens in a wood pile in my backyard.  I was able to get only 1 kitten and someone I know adopted her.

There are stray cats all over my neighborhood, I'm guessing a few are the cats from the litter born in my backyard.  And then we also have several who allow their cats to roam freely.

There isn't a rescue group on my area, not even the pound, that will allow any animal to leave the premises without being spayed or neutered.

We have stray cats in the wooded area on my work property.  We trap them, get them spayed and put them back in the wooded area.  We then take turns feeding them.  Not a lot of people are willing to, nor can they afford to, trap these cats and pay to have them altered.
