Need to go dig out my Men in Black dvd. That is one funny take on this.

For whatever the reason, yes! It would be foolish of us to think that with the universe as vast as it is that there is no other form of life out there.

I don't believe WE are alone in the Galaxy, never mind the universe. Take a look at OUR galaxy. Little old Earth is WAAAAYY out in one spiral arm...the celestial boonies, away from the bright star packed center. Presumptious to think we are the only life.

Wow, yeah, how are all these type of things explained?
They have bows and arrows. They are stars or sky gods; like Zeus throwing thunder and lightning bolts.
Totally agree. Also halos have indicated divinity or holiness throughout the ages in images across cultures and are often shown exactly like that.

To me, they look like mythical figures. @qualitygal

@furbabylover wrote:@Tessa Mendoza Did you know there are whole websites devoted to this idea of "brain tinkering" from extraterrestrials? And these are not loons on these sites, but credible people like scientists. It of course seems really far fetched, but I think we are all looking for explanations for what is going on in this world right now.
@furbabylover, if we want to find explanations for what is going on in our world right now, we can't blame it on anyone or thing other than ourselves.
BTW, there are loony "scientists." The title, if it even fits here, is no guaranty of a lucid mind.

It's humans from the future.

I guesstimate there is life on other planets. It's more likely than not. But I don't assume they're space tourists or migrants.
They could very well be plants or bacteria. Or frogs who happen to be homebodies and keep to themselves on their comfy little space lilypads. Or pure energy creatures who can automatically sense everything in existence, so they already know everything about us and all the other life on other planets. Or creatures who live in a different dimension or outside of time.
The concept that aliens want to come here and abduct and do funny things to rural people and cows is just a projection of what we choose to do when we encounter new species. I think deep down we feel guilty about how we treat other forms of life and expect to have the same things done to us.

I have no problem believing that we are not the only "life". It's interplanetary travel that I have a problem believing. I believed all those stories back when I was a teenager. Why would they lie? Just to scare me to death?
A girlfriend and I suffered horrible nightly terrors in high school of being abducted, and these were separate experiences that had not been discussed between us before hand, from watching War of the Worlds and listening to reports on the news.
I do believe that some people saw experimental aircraft during the cold war, but if you look at old videos of alleged flying saucers, they look very primitive compared to Star Wars after 1977. I read somewhere that home videos of flying saucers drastically fell off after Star Wars came out.
Interplanetary or intergalactic travel faces insurmountable odds.
