lacrosse would be a great addition, but i know that the areas it is played in are very limited. it is VERY popular around here.

have never heard or parkour before......had to look it up.

would love to see a WOMENS decathlon.....i could see that happening in the future.

my son was quite excited that they added skateboarding into the mix this year. it was fun to watch!

i dont know about anyone else, but i have been enjoying watching the olympics this year. it has been a great distraction. so glad that those athletes got to be there to compete.

Am thoroughly enjoying every moment of Olympic coverage!

Lacrosse was an official event in 1904 and 1908.  Last seen as a demonstration sport in 1948, so there's always a chance for its return, however unlikely.

Parkour was very close to being included in 2024 but there was a dispute over governance.   The IOC requires a sport to be under an international federation.   The International Gymnastics Federation took control, but some grassroots parkour groups opposed that leadership and lobbied the IOC against it.

Until governance is settled it's unlikely to be seen until 2032 at the earliest.

The beach volleyball uniforms....gave a whole meaning to "cheeky" 😄🤣🤣🤣

@Johnnyeager   Wow.  That's too bad.  I hope the dispute and governance issues can be settled earlier than that.  I'd love to see parkour in the Olympics.

Amature olympians - no professionals like it was back in da day.

As far as clothing, the male runners in track & field should be rated  Adults Only.pngon the close ups. whistling.gif

Gymnastics floor excercise "music" needs serious updating.  Throw in some rock & roll, hip hop, R&B, etc.

Males floor excercise needs music.

If break dancing is going to be added, you might as well throw in twerking & voguing.
