I know it's strange, but there it is.  People actually do not like New York City, or the people who live in New York City.

That's a pretty broad statement because New Yorkers are represented by every continent, nationality and race from this planet!

What is your point?

How does this relate to the tragedy?

Nevermind.

I don't want to hear any more of this absurdity

I find your comment hackneyed.  You had your say, said you didn't want to hear any comments, and then got disdainful about the whole thing.  I'm making this comment for people  reading the thread - yeah, everybody saw this.

Of course, you're not going to see this comment, because you're tired of this absurdity.  I'm glad about that.

Now will I be hearing we need more truck rental control, that'll make our country safer, especially on bike paths/roads. Then, watch out Hertz and other big car rental companies.

Condolences to all the families that lost relatives in this act of foreign terror. He should be sent to Guantanamo as an admitted murderer.

I live in NY and have never had problems with people disliking New Yorkers except.... on these boards. East coast people, NY, NJ, Mass. Etc. I have read it on these boards many times. Actually, from posters on this particular thread.

Seriously, just throwing out a "tour bus" survey result to slam New Yorkers.

Pitiful.

NYC is attacked by foreign and home grown terrorists because of what it represents in this country. Most well known city, large population, center of culture and commerce. Frankly gets the intended attention. It has zero to do with anyone allegedly not liking New Yorkers. And frankly under the circumstances I find that being thrown out here to be very distasteful.

I dislike people based on who they are as individuals, not where they live or where they're from.
