Wonder why he doesn't sue any of them for slander?

Most surveillance videos aren't even on tape anymore and are stored on hard drives. The digital information is typically only kept for a few weeks before it's overwritten by new data. The amount of data storage you'd need to record multiple cameras 24/7 for six/seven years is enormous. I'd be shocked if anyplace in the world had that amount of data on record. If there are no red flags raised within a couple of weeks the old data just gets overwritten. It's not done to cover anything up, but simply as a matter of economics. Pretty much no one can afford to keep that much data on hand.

Many times the rapist is the father or uncle or brother. Sometimes it's a religious leader, there is no guaranteed safe place.

Been there, unfortunately. But also it seems like some folks might not see a scenario where the woman/girl really has no idea she is putting herself in a position of disadvantage. There are just a million scenarios, but imagine that you feel the person is trustworthy, going in. You're not going to feel fear or suspicion. Also, it's a lot easier to look at something in retrospect and you tend to see it much differently.

I don't imagine women allowed themselves to be put in a position where they put themselves in danger. Of course, the rule applies 100% to situations where one has been abducted or is being abused by somebody they don't know and they have lost all control over the situation. These are situations where the person felt they had no reason not to trust. Some people are very trusting anyway, but cases like this are just not such that fear is part of the equation. By the time you know you've put yourself in a position of disadvantage you've already been victimized and you probably never, in a million years, expected it could happen.

Playboy, especially at the mansion is very particular as to who 'hangs out' there. Not just anyone can come on to the grounds. After the 1970's drug accusations and the sort, Hugh Heffner has been particularly careful about the 'minors'. Too bad he hasn't been particular about his male guests.

That's why so many Catholic priests and football coach Jerry Sandusky were so successful in victimizing young boys .... they were "trustworthy" people .... or so the parents thought.
