Possibly safer than dining at your kitchen table in close contact with loved ones.
FYI, that is what it is referred to where I reside....not only by residents but in our local news too.
Have another donut dear...it may improve your disposition!

Could you please cite the actual data?
Would be good to read through the data.

I think it's too soon. People need to keep wearing their masks and yes I've heard all the talking heads say that if you've been vaccinated it's okay to no longer wear one.
I just pray there's not another deadly surge. I think we just cannot take it anymore, the sadness, the grief and the horror of it.
That inference is misleading, @agb80. All actual health experts say that we should still wear masks when in public. But yes, they have deemed it okay not to wear a mask in certain situations: e.g. inside with people who have also been vaccinated.

My DH and I have eaten inside and outside restaurants throughout this whole thing. You have to use common sense and follow precautions. We have left establishments before because it was too many people, too much standing around, just too much. I really doubt someone will contract Covid by cleaning off a table in a restaurant.

We had to return up north for a family issue.......a lockdown state. This was what one pub came up with for the everyother booth/table restrictions on seating:

@ECBG Yep the vaccines are everything. My state, Connecticut, will be offering vaccines to all over 16 beginning April 1. Restaurants are open upto 50 percent but I believe that will be changing soon.
