Party at my house @2blonde!  Bring your records!

I say we have an all night rager for all of us QVC peeps and show the young people how it really goes down.  LOL

This is what I need to find @beckyb1012. Compilations.

My only gripe is I am having a hard time paying $20-30 plus bucks for an LP.  It was $5-$15 tops for a double in the 80s when I started buying my own records.  I know it's been a few decades but it's still a vinyl record.

This one has Rick Springfield.  He was my first ever album buy.  My sister and I fought over buying it and the smart sales girl said why don't one of you buy the older one and the other one the newer one and then you have both?  And we did!

I too like the compilations the best, the more for your buck.  I was still a couple of years from being a teenager when I bought it but boy did I feel like one spending my cash and singing to a perfume bottle as a microphone in my bedroom.

Rick Springfield was in my town a couple of months ago for a concert, was hard to resist but the tickets are just to pricey for this Grandma with babes to shop for @Laura14.

@beckyb1012  Really?  He must have gone up.  I saw him in concert about 6-7 years ago and he is a phenomenal show.  If you ever get the chance and he's cheap enough, highly recommend.  He loves his fans and puts on a great show.

The place that holds these concerts and series of lectures is part of huge University all over our State of Texas, so the venue had more to do with the cost than the performer.

That makes sense @beckyb1012.  I was thinking he really wasn't outrageous the times he swung through here but it's been a while since I've priced concert tickets.

This would help explain why I received much more than I thought I would when I sold my album collection to a store that sells used music.  Had no idea that used albums were a desirable resale item.

Oh my gosh, these songs remind me of college, especially Maggie May and Brandy, good times.😻

I had just turned 11 that Christmas and I thought Maggie May was so racey to put it nicely.  Loved the song but for my little girl head the lyrics were rated R.  Makes me laugh now thinking of how tame it really was @QVCkitty1

Isn't that the truth?

Remember when everyone had a heart attack over Olivia Newton John's "Physical" song? I think it got banned in Utah.

Now half the lyrics are bleeped out over the radio or they just let it fly.  I wonder if Tipper Gore is still with us and conscious.
