My DH does that every year too. And around his birthday too.  We don’t exchange gifts so I don’t care.  When he decides he wants something, he just goes and gets it. 

We watched a movie on TV the other night and it had that loud background music that drowns out the voices.  Well, he is hard of hearing and wears a headset so he can hear the TV and not be blasting it so loud the neighbors a mile away can hear and he still complained that he can’t hear the voices.

i told him “you need a sound bar”  he said he never heard of them, so I told him to “ look em up”. Well, he has been looking and I am sure we will have one sometime this week.

Mine doesn't buy himself things, but a week before he'll start saying I need this or that.  Well, at that point I'm done and not running around shopping more.
