He went to Villanova LS and worked full time on the main computer for billing for a large corporation.  

 

We were the youngest folks in the building as everyone else was retired and " clipped financial coupons."  The building was comfortable but very warm during the winter.

 

At one point, I worked in the same computer center but on the midnite shift and finished graduate school during the day.  

 

You should have seen the looks I got as I left the building at 11:45 PM dressed for work and didn't return until early AM !!!!

 

Those  were the days...thank goodness they are long gone!

@jlkz  I remember those days too.  I worked at U of P and lived near campus in a wonderful apartment building.  The owner tried to rent to 1/3 graduate students, 1/3 professionals, and 1/3 original people who had lived in the building for a long time.  The older people would sit outside in the courtyard and watch our comings and goings commenting on our short dresses and generally trying to find out about our lives.   But I loved it there.
