So if you need a refrigerator they will drop it off on your front porch.

you need to bring it in yourself  and hook it up. good luck with that....

Exactly, this is possibly the dumbest thing I've heard yet. Oh, and don't forget, you'll have two because the old one will stay in place, so even if you can get the new one in, get it balanced, get the doors put on properly, you'll have to arrange to move the old one somewhere before you can hook it up. I think they should've fleshed out this 'plan' a little more thoroughly. Dropping off a small appliance on the front stoop or possibly even some televisions might work. Major appliances don't. Ridiculous.
