Better than that:
"MSNBC host Rachel Maddow gained the most from O’Reilly’s departure... Maddow won the 9 p.m. hour in total viewers over CNN and Fox News for the first time in 20 years."
Same source as above.

My source is Variety.com. Their May 22 article does say Rachael came out on top but on their May 31 article is what I posted in my last post. Seems that CNN is the big loser here. I don't mind MSNBC doing well as they are for left leaners. I have a problem with CNN because while they claim one thing (impartial) they are not. Why they don't just label themselves in that side?

I'm not a fan of CNN. I could go into why, but I don't want to kill this line ![]()

@Nancy Drew I don't view CNN as leaning left at all. Instead they try to straddle both sides.

@deepwaterdotter fyi, it may be a bit before Rachel returns to the air as she has been off sick for over a week. I just checked her Twitter feed and there is nothing so it seems like she will be off a few more days at least.

Who has been filling in for Rachael?

I do more reading about news than watching, and I use a variety of sources.
My homepage is Google News and I like it that they give everything from ABC to Fox.
I do appreciate cable when I'm watching something like the ongoing report about the the London Bridge terror.

Hi @tansy
I don't, either. MSNBC, yes, but not CNN. IMO CNN doesn't know what they are.

Correct, Noel. She's beating everyone in her time slot. I think that includes the Tucker guy.
I couldn't be happier. I've watched her for years and I firmly feel she is the best across the board. Bar none. Her research is flawless. Her presentations are witty and smart. She doesn't have to resort to the high hemlines, cleavage and shiny legs of those "other"women.

I would have agreed with you 2 years ago. Not now. My biggest disappointment is with Anderson Cooper. He used hide his cards, not lately. However I did like how swiftly he handled the K Griffin incident.
