The format has changed. Her focus and strength is not at the forefront. The effective force was not delivered, and appearance of being commercial.

Forgive me for not reading everyone's posts yet but I will.  We just watched it (taped) and as my grandfather used to say "she is cuter than a bug's ear!"  IMHO she did a great job with Mr. Putin.

For those of you who didn't like her attire, I wish you could see what some of the woman wear on our Tucson news channels.  Yikes!

I thought the show was good, but it will be hard to compete against 60 Minutes this fall.

While I agree her outfit was unprofessional - it was NOT what you are saying. It was a cocktail dress when a business suit was called for.

I have to agree....that outfit is VERY unprofessional and reminds me of exactly that. This photo is right after a cocktail or dinner hour, but I'm  wondering if she felt she needed to dress like that for Putin to be interested at all. I am sure she knew that the interview was going to take place, so she should have dressed appropriately. Just MHO.

I dont see see her show being a big boom to NBC ratings on Sundays. 60 Minutes has nothing to worry about.

ITA! But she always dresses like that. There's still a few women left who believe that's how you climb the ladder of success.

Only a nitwit would wear that on that occasion.

@esmeraldagooch  You are absolutely correct about the dress not being professional business attire; however, this particular segment happened immediately following a cocktail reception.

If you watch the rest of the show as well as the one-on-one interview with Putin, you will see that she was professionally dressed.

@CLEM  Well that's certainly no reason for having chosen that particular dress.  She knew she was doing that segment after the cocktail party, didn't she?   so there are a million other styles of cocktail dresses she could have chosen.  What you wrote doesn't justify that dress in that setting whatsoever.   What? she couldn't find a cocktail dress to wear to the cocktail party that wasn't cut up to her poopick?

Rolling my eyes.....

Nothing unusual there! I can't remember her ever not showing most of what she can get away with. Putin looked "amused."

Baba Wawa (Barbara Walters) is still the Queen of Interviews.  Long live the Queen.  She has/had that ability to get anyone to spill their guts.  Her interviews were always interesting, no matter who was in the hot seat.  MK is nothing special, actually, her voice is a little annoying.  I'll never watch her.

Nope, didn't watch. Can't stand Megyn Kelly. She's so full of herself! I always refer to her as having "pretty girl syndrome" and just like my mom would always say about describing someone that's conceited "I like me, who do you like?" LOL!

I could have done without the infamous "what kind of tree would you be?" question.   Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Have never liked Megyn. Too full of herself - she comes across to me as believing it is all about "her." I did watch, though, but was unimpressed.

Try to watch some of all of the cable networks in addition to CBS, NBC, and ABC. Of the current women anchors/reporters, my faves are Martha MacCullum, Greta van Susteren, Alex Witt, and Dana Bash.

@Pearlee I think even she would like to roll that one back . . . Smiley Happy
