@golding76 wrote:When you think about it, the royal family is a family of widely diverse features. Look at little Princess Charlotte. She, at this time, does not resemble her mother very much and appears to favor her paternal Great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
Just suppose Kate had been the father and not the mother of this child. The speculation would be all over the place, I think. In some families, there can be a general similarity of features while in others, there are many different "looks" to be inherited.
ETA: My maternal grandmother gave birth to 10 children. Some inherited her very pale skin while others inherited my grandfather's darker Greek look. Some were tall and husky while others were short and small-boned. Some had classic features while others, well, umm... Some had gently curling waves while others had VERY curly hair.
Not to mention that who in the family a child resembles can change as they age. People always used to say, as a child, that I looked nothing like either my mother or sister, and that they looked very much alike. Part of this was due to the fact that they both had (at the time, not natural) blonde hair, and both had green eyes. I was auburn-haired and blue-eyed. People see superficialities and run with them.
Once I hit 40 - OMG, everyone who saw me with my mom said I looked SO much like her. Not just a vague resemblance, but very like indeed - our facial features. Until the day she died.
Who you resemble can change as you age.
I see both William and Kate in both George and Charlotte. I see both the Spencers and the Windsors in William and Harry.

@Pearlee wrote:@Maltichonmom17 I think Harry looks more and more like Philip as Harry ages, esp. the eyes and nose. Even more so than Charles.
But there are also may side-by-side comparisons with him and Hewitt. As I posted above, without seeing the DNA results, IMO either Hewitt or Charles could plausibly be his father.
@Pearlee and @YorkieonmyPillow, I agree that Harry does resemble Prince Philip. This picture made the rounds on the internet a while back, showing a picture of a young Philip in the military, bearing a close family resemblance to Prince Harry. I think Philip, Charles and Harry all share a family resemblance, each in their own way.

Diana said - on tape - that she'll die in a car accident.......... who would say that if they didn't expect that? Diana was dating her bodyguard - after she divorced Charles. The Royals moved him to another location - and a year later, he was hit by a car - and died. Very Mean Nasty Family.

A conspiracy theory behind every bush! And enough dastardly plots to write a murder mystery series for TV. Some of you better get writing and put all these thoughts to good use. ![]()

I would say it is time the gossips concentrate on what may need attention in their own backyard. Think of how Harry must feel having his parentage rudely speculated on and how William and Harry must feel having their mother's memory dishonored byunfounded gossip and innuendo.
@KathyM23- Thank you. I know; there are those who will continue to spread these false stories no matter what. I feel bad also for the two sons she had who have to live with seeing this trash perpetuated.
LOL - I doubt whether William and Harry are reading this forum.
And you think this forum is the only source of these appallingly trashy theories? You must not read the tabloid rags. I was speaking in a much wider sense. I certainly don't think they'd be reading any comments on a shopping channel forum. Thankfully.

Diana was dating her bodyguard BEFORE she & Charles divorced - and he was MARRIED.
I can't believe anyone thinks the royal family had a hand in her death --- why would they wait until the divorce was final? If they were going to "dispose" of Diana, they would've done that before they were divorced.
Not to mention, Queen Elizabeth - or Charles - would never be involved in something so EVIL.

Not only are you correct about the car accident. Diana in her own words pointed to Charles and went as far as saying car accident. "Banned In Britain" Excellent Documentary. Pertinent questions and testimonies in court of Royal inquiries. Truth is stranger than fiction.

I can't help but feel how unfortunate it is that a thread referring to the engagement of Harry and Meghan has turned into a debate regarding his paternal lineage!....I'm being kind in using the adjective, "unfortunate".
