From Page Six of the NY Post today:
"Page Six has learned that Markle is in New York City for her baby shower, which will take place on Tuesday. Markle’s best friend and stylist, Jessica Mulroney, is also in town to shower the mom-to-be. The exclusive party, we’re told, will take place at a hotel on the Upper East Side ... It’s unclear if Markle will also have a baby shower back in the U.K."

I guess all of the gifts will have to be repackaged for transport back to her new home in the UK. Wonder whose task that will fall on. I'm sure she'll get a ton of stuff, all nice and all very expensive.

Very nice that friends and family can celebrate the upcoming birth with the Duchess. I, for one, am very happy for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

I hope she has a wonderful time with friends and her security detail keeps Samantha away from Meghan if she shows up.

It's great that she can spend this time with her friends in the US. Meghan and Harry are visiting Morocco this weekend.

Anyone here get an invitation? I didn't. I wonder why these people need a baby shower. The main reason for showers is to get gifts. I hope they give any gifts to charities that support needy families.

Showers are to spend time with family and friends. They are not a gift grab . . . at least not in my circle of friends. We are happy for those celebrating special events in life and are pleased to be invited to share in the joy.
Many gifts are given to last a life time. I usually give children's books which are passed down for generations within the family! Or a sterling cup or teething ring with the child's name engraved on it.
Sounds like some posters are jealous. Why be jealous of someone you read about? Give Harry and Meaghan a break. They deserve as much happiness as every other couple . . . including showers for their baby with friends from the US.

So, should no one of means have a baby shower?
