Regarding the 900 side effects and death - 

A nurse who has been involved in clinical trials told me that they must report every single event a person encounters while in the trial, whether the med caused it or not. Rashes, headaches, a cold, catching the flu, and on and on.

When someone dies during the trial it could be from the disease itself or other causes, but they have to report it as a side effect.

I use commercials as a time to flip. It is usually my QVC watching time. You can just watch QVC during commercials and not miss much.

I find it annoying that the most disgusting drug ads appear at the dinner hour while we’ll watching the news and eating. There are ads for constipation, yeast infections, mucus, etc. Maybe those can be shown another time.

The majority of those drugs can be eliminated if the patient

 just cleaned up their diet/lifestyle. So self-inflicted.

There are many SCAMMY lawyers that find clients this way --- called Class Action Lawsuits. The lawyers make 95% of the money - and the clients wind up with $5.00 OR LESS!!! Don't u love the commercials about people who got Ovarian Cancer who've used Johnson Baby Powder???? Many people used this brand of baby powder and got Ovarian Cancer because it ran in their families or they had the gene. Lawyers - many are HONEST -- and MOST are DISHONEST.

Wish most of these lawyers get sued.

I think big Pharma is desperately marketing to boomers....rather insulting since they are assuming everyone over 50 is a diabetic arthritic with erectile dysfunction or psoriasis. I always change the channel. Not to mention how incredibly long they are! They seem to drag on forever.

I have a few doctors in my family.....one is an internist and he said it is frustrating how many patients come in and want a specific drug because they have seen it on a commercial...and it is totally inappropriate for them; they get angry when he denies the prescription. I do know these Pharma companies spend millions sending drs.on luxury vacations, etc. but that shouldn't cause them to hand out scripts for drugs like candy; no wonder we have the drug problems we do now in older adults.

Those ads for lawyers and those people who come on and tell about all their troubles and they get money when they contacted so & so lawyers,they got me a large cash settlement. Fat laugh, if a settlement was given the lawyers take 99% you get the leavings. I was injured in a car accident in 86. We contacted a lawyer, can’t remember who steered us to this lawyer, anyway, settlement was 2 yrs later, I got almost nothing from this accident, a guy ran a red light. Broad sided us in the car.the lawyer took it all. The gal who wrote the check got 3 grand, that just floored me. So those commercials are terrible. 

The other commercials are take this medication for such & such thing. The side effects that are stated are worse than getting better. Most have a side effect of death, why take the stuff.

commericals are plain stupid, 99% of them are just dumb.
