There seems to be no answer to stopping this evil, we all are at risk of being shot,by some deranged human.

My take on why these things continue to happen. There is little to no metal health help for people when they need it. The media constantly pits us against each other. How can we expect that some unstable person is not going to take the anger the media pushes and not do something awful. Their is no unity not even on this board. People fight constantly over the narratives the media and others push. They want us to hate each other.

I agree about the mental issues and not enough help available. These people may have needed help before the pandemic, but having been quarantined, lost family/friends may have made their situations worse.
No excuse for what happened in Boulder or Atlanta. It's frightening that we can't feel safe anywhere, even in a crowd food shopping in daylight. I didn't sleep last night thinking about those families and the horror they're living with now.

@Cats3000 A firearm is different from a assault weapon. There's no need for a citizen (not in the military, FBI, etc.) to be allowed to have one in their possession. It's a mass shooting weapon.

I am all for issuing everyone in the US a musket. Wouldn't that be type of gun used then?

It's actually not. And who gets to decide what people can have. How bout we get rid of really fast cars because people get killed in them and because of them. There are many things that kill lots of people. I guess we should take them all away in case some crazy person uses it to do harm to others.

Good idea
This guy still didn't beat Columbine and Aurora, some days it's tough being a part of the well regulated militia. But they soldier on

An assault weapon is a type of firearm. I'm glad that was pointed out.
